Proton Mail - Make Your Competition Jealous 5 Ways with Proton
Security first free Swiss emailProton
If you were to pick a country in the world where a company could be headquartered that respects privacy above international pressure of foreign agencies, which country would that be? Yes! Switzerland. They gained a reputation for maintaining discretion and privacy of their clients at the Swiss banks. The same is happening in the tech realm. Proton was one of the first.
Have you wanted to leave GMail or Yahoo behind and sign up for a new, fresh email account at a company that respects your privacy and is not stalking you around the Internet? Proton Mail could be the one for you. YES THERE IS A GREAT FREE ACCOUNT with free email, free VPN, free Drive storage, and free Calendar.
For personal use it works well. For doing any level of business you will want to soon upgrade to the Proton Unlimited that I use. Read on about the rising star giving Google a run for its money! And your data is PRIVATE and SECURE, unlike the way that Google whores your data out to anyone who pays. Get rid of your pimp who keeps beating you and come over to the descent and civilized Swiss protecting your rights.
The team is never sitting on its hands, resting on its laurels either. In the past couple of years they have taken their success and built a superb VPN service to go with that. As if secured, private email and VPN service were not enough, Proton Mail added Proton Calendar and Proton Drive (cloud drive storage) as well. There is a free level that will service many independent consultants well. If you move to the stage of working with employees or teams Proton’s plans will certainly be suitable.
Proton Mail
From the business perspective one good point is that you can integrate your own domains for Proton Mail. You can have multiple addresses with Proton free email domain endings. Adding labels and folders is much easier than in GMail. Creating a filter is super easy. The only drawback is your Stockholm Syndrome you will feel when you have the pressure to return to Gmail because you miss how difficult things were on you.
Proton VPN
I use Proton VPN on all of my devices. My phones all use it on startup and my laptops do as well. There is a kill switch and secure core servers. I love the secure core servers because I am hopping through two servers, one of which cannot be penetrated at all. I have tested this out by accessing TASS RU in Russia from within Ukraine after Russia locked down all access from Ukraine. I had no problem. Turned it off and was blocked. Get Proton VPN, even the free version.
Proton Calendar
I have not used this feature yet, since I am not at all a fan of Calendars. I keep everything in my head as a running tally. It look identical in features to Google Calendar, though, and should meet most needs out there.
Proton Drive
While I am used to using another Swiss tool for drive storage and streaming (pCloud – I recommend), am looking forward to putting my newest project here to see how it performs. Check back in about the middle of February 2023 for an update here.
